Daily wrap-ups

A daily wrap-up looks back over the conversations you had on one day and pulls out what they have in common. It is a way to see the shape of your thinking without rereading every transcript.

Open your wrap-ups

Choose Wrap-ups in the sidebar. The page opens on the most recent day you had a conversation. Use the arrows to move to earlier or later days; only days that have conversations appear. The label above the card says Today for the current day and shows the date for any other.

Days are counted in UTC, so a conversation late in your evening can land on the next calendar day, depending on where you are.

What a wrap-up shows

Each wrap-up has:

  • An overview of the day, including how many conversations it covers.
  • Themes: ideas that kept coming up.
  • Tensions: places where you were pulled in two directions, such as wanting to move quickly and wanting to be careful.
  • Patterns: ways of approaching things that showed up across the day.

A wrap-up is made the first time you open a day, and then it is saved. Opening that day again shows the same wrap-up rather than making a new one. It is built from what you said in your conversations, not from anything outside Forum.

Two things you can do with a wrap-up

  • Explore this with the agent. Starts a new conversation that begins from the wrap-up, so you can follow up on a theme or a tension. Conversations started this way are left out of later wrap-ups, so reflecting on a wrap-up does not change the next one.
  • Go deeper. Optional. This re-reads the full text of that day’s conversations and adds a more detailed analysis to the wrap-up. Once it has run, the card shows Deep analysis ✓.

Past wrap-ups

The Past wrap-ups list shows the wrap-ups you have already made. Select one to open it.

When there is nothing to show

If you have not had a conversation yet, the page says so and points you to start one. A day with no conversations has no wrap-up.

Wrap-ups from your AI

If you connect Forum to an AI app (see Connect your AI), the connector can read a wrap-up you have already made, but it never makes a new one. Open the day in Forum first. A connection limited to certain domains cannot see wrap-ups, because a wrap-up draws on all of your conversations. The connector tools page lists what an assistant can do.
